However, I found that I really struggled with the L2 training. Why ? I never paddle on flat water, well apart from a bit of Canoe Polo and the sections between the "interesting" stuff. I only *just* scraped through the training, and was told I should re-evaluate my choice of boat and my technique... fair enough, I'm not too hot at sculling for support on flat water (can do it in a Grade 3 stopper though !)
